Frequently asked questions
Do I need to install anything?
No. RT²M runs in the browser — participants join by clicking a link, with no account and no install.
How many languages, and with voice?
It interprets in 76 languages, with spoken output for nearly all of them — not just captions. Besides the common European languages it covers Hungarian and many rarer pairs (e.g. HU–RO, HU–SR).
What happens to my audio?
The connection is encrypted and we don’t store audio — the transcript is deleted once the minutes have been sent. If the minutes fail, the transcript is kept for at most 48 hours, then deleted automatically. Our servers and database run in the EU.
How many people can join?
Team: up to 20 interactive participants. Business: up to 50, and up to 100 listeners in webinar mode. Enterprise: 500–1000+ people in broadcast mode, by arrangement.
Where do your servers run?
Our database and our own servers run in the EU (Germany), designed for GDPR and EU AI Act compliance. Media relay and AI services are provided by external processors — where each one runs is listed on our subprocessors page.
Can it be used alongside Teams or Zoom?
Yes. RT²M provides its own browser-based meeting room — send a link to it for the multilingual conversation, while the rest of your meetings can stay wherever they already are.
How much latency is there?
End-of-sentence latency of 1–2 seconds — fast enough for a natural conversation, though it’s not a simultaneous-interpretation contest.
How much does it cost?
Trial is free (30 minutes once, 15 minutes per meeting). Team is 18 000 Ft per package (200 minutes, 2–20 people), Business starts at 74 000 Ft (1000 minutes, 20–50 people, webinar mode up to 100). Minutes never expire, unused minutes carry over. Enterprise is custom-priced, and white-label is an extra 37 000 Ft/month. In EUR: Team €45, Business from €185.
Is there a trial period?
Yes — a self-serve free trial starts with a company e-mail address; a personal/free e-mail can still request access, the self-serve flow just requires a company address.
What is white-label?
Your own logo, colors, and domain for your brand or your client’s — an extra 37 000 Ft/month, set up manually.
What happens if my connection drops?
Do not reload the page. On the closing screen, click “Rejoin” to get back in with one click, and the language you chose during the meeting is kept.
Why can’t I rejoin a closed meeting?
If the room was closed, it stays locked for a few minutes. The page counts down and then rejoins on its own. If you do not want to go back, click “Leave”.
Do I need headphones?
They are recommended. With speakers, the translation can play back into your microphone and confuse the recognition. If several of you sit in one room, tick “Same room as me” in the Panel.
The sign-in or invitation link does not work in my company mailbox. What should I do?
Click the button in the email. Some company mail security checks (Outlook, for example) open the link in advance, so the page that opens asks for one more click, and the link is not used up. If it has still expired, ask for a new one.
